Zachary Meyer

Zachary John Meyer, "Squeaks,” age 34, departed this life on February 23, 2017. Zachary was born on September 17, 1982 to John and Lylea Meyer in Grantsburg, WI. Zach was born with a love for the outdoors. You could always find him out cutting wood, clearing trails, or setting up a place to hunt for him and his beloved children, who were the joy of his life. Zach was known to bring a smile to anyone's face and a helping hand to whom ever needed it. Zach is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Erven Meyer, Joe Mindrup, and Lyle Olberding; and his uncle, Paul olberding. He is survived by his children, Ayla and Talon; his parents, John and Lylea; his brothers, Eddie (Lona) Siebenthal and Jake (Jessie) Meyer; sister, Courtney Meyer; nieces: Kylie, Charli, Randi, Stevie, Julie, Josie; nephew, Mitchell; grandmothers, Mary Jane Meyer and Barbara Mindrup; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and more friends than anyone could count. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 5-8:00PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00AM (visitation 10-11:00 AM) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grantsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Grantsburg.
