William Shultz

William “Bill” John Shultz, age 63, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Bill was born on July 14, 1958 in Rice Lake to Levi and Martha Shultz.

He was a 1976 graduate of Rice Lake High School and received a 2 year Associates Degree from WITC - Rice Lake in autobody. He and Leesa were married on July 19, 1980 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Campia, WI. He spent 33 plus years as a maintenance worker at Parker Hannifin in Grantsburg.

Bill enjoyed fabricating, building and fixing things. He liked to ride motorcycle, help others, spend time fishing, days on the pontoon and spending time with family at the cabin. His most favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Martha Shultz; brothers, Carl, Edward and David; sisters, Clara and Nancy

He is survived by his wife, Leesa; children, Dana “Dutch” (Liz) Shultz and Becke (Jeff) Rieck; his grandchildren, Isaac, Larkin, Madi and Boone; brothers, Allan, Donny and Gary; sisters, Edna, Kathy, Fern, and Judy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Covenant Church in Grantsburg (11530 State Road 70, Grantsburg, WI) with Pastor Brad Moore officiating.
