William Powell

William Lloyd Powell, age 65, of La Follette Twp, Burnett Co., WI, formerly of Jewett, IL, passed away at his home, Monday, January 4, 2016. Will was born in Toledo, IL, on July 23, 1950, to the late Lloyd and Helen (Parson) Powell, of Jewett, IL. William married Sandra K. Marlow in 1968 at the Toledo Christian Church, Toledo, IL. She preceded him in death in 1996. Will married Linda Shaver Thielman in 2004. She preceded him in death in May of 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; brother-in-law, Lowell Titus; and nephew, Ricky Titus. Will leaves behind two sons: William Powell, Jr. and Scott Powell; two granddaughters: Heather Powell (Joe Pigman) and Amber Powell (Steve Berdman); two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Nova; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Cindy Powell; a sister, Sue Titus; eight nieces and nephews, and fourteen great-nieces and great-nephews. Cremation rites were accorded. No services will be held at this time, at Will’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted with Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Webster, WI.
