William Ferguson

William “Bill” Winton Ferguson , age 84, of Springbrook, passed away on October 22, 2017 at his granddaughter’s home in Princeton, MN. Bill was born on January 25, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN to parents, Evelyn (Racette) and William Ferguson. On October 20, 1951, Bill married Shirley Brickman at the catholic church in Springbrook. Bill greatly enjoyed spending time bowling and golfing. Preceding Bill in death are his parents; wife, Shirley Ferguson; brothers, Ed Ferguson and Rolland Ferguson. Bill is survived by his children: William Ferguson, Susan (Rod) Barfknecht, Mary (Tom) Longfield, Kelly (Dave) Morrisette; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Zopp and Earlyne (Dick) Aalund; brother, Allen (Annie) Ferguson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 1:00-5:00pm at Bill’s home in Springbrook. Condolences may be sent to Mary Longfield, P.O. Box 54, Foreston, MN 56330.
