Wilfred Jensen

Wilfred “Bill” L. Jensen , age 86, of Hayward, WI, passed away on May 16, 2018.
Bill was born on March 5, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN, to parents, Irma (Vorpahl) and Wilfred Jensen Sr. He graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1949. He then went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota – Duluth.
On February 3, 1962, Bill was united in marriage to Carol Madsen, together they raised 4 children.
Bill had an occupation in sales for many years in various areas. He and Carol were also previous owners of The Cabaret Bar in Webb Lake. Bill enjoyed music, travel, spending time outdoors and watching his favorite sports team, the Green Bay Packers. In his younger years, Bill was very involved in sports. He also liked to spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Preceding Bill in death are his parents; first wife, Viola Lindstrom Jensen.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol; children: Gary (Ruth) Jensen, Anita (Dave) Greene, Neal (Maria) Jensen and Clark (Jessica) Jensen; grandchildren: Michael, Karlie, Amie, Jessica, Ann and Mara; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00am (visitation from 10-11:00am) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Danbury, WI, with Father Mike Tupa officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Danbury Cemetery.
