Wallace James Bignell, 70, passed away May 7, 2016 in Siren, WI. Wallace was born February 21, 1946 to Sherman and Annabelle (Kralewski) Bignell in Durand, WI. In 1967 he joined the Army, and served in the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1969. Wallace was united in marriage to Mary on May 24, 1969 in Elmwood, Wisconsin. Wallace worked as a welder for over 30 some years at Meyers in Hager City, WI. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, wood working, collecting guns and lots of other toys. Wallace also enjoyed spending time and being with his family. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Ann Bignell; loving wife of 44 years, Mary Bignell; sisters, Eileen, Marie, Mary Ann, and Nancy; brothers, Ronald and Lyman; and grandson, Quinton. He will be dearly loved and missed by, daughter, Theresa Lubich; sons, Mathew (Angie) Bignell and Scott Bignell; grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Lubich, Reese Bignell, Katlyn, Megan and Madison Bignell; great grandchildren, Sophia and Jase Lubich. Siblings, Richard (Del) Bignell, Edwin (Donna) Bignell, Kevin (Pat) Bignell; sisters, Sharon (Greg) Leisgang, Jean (Larry), Jane Cowden, Wayne (Karen) Bignell, Bryan (Diana) Bignell, Sherman (Mischa) Bignell, and Bernice (Rick) Clark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday, May 11, 2016 11am (visitation from 9:30-11am) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, WI. Father Mike Tupa will be officiating. Rite of Committal will take place at St. Johns Cemetery, pallbearers will be Ryan Bignell, Jason Stahnke, Richie Bignell, Troy Van Brunt, Jeff Hanvelt and Angie Comerford; giftbears are Delrita Bignell and Dorthy Hanvelt.
