Vernon Donald Buskirk Sr. age 76, a resident of Webster, WI passed away on May 25, 2022 at the CentraCare - St. Could Hospital.
Vernon was born on August 24, 1945 in Frederic, WI to parents Melvin and Bertha (Doriott) Buskirk.
In Vernon’s free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and traveling to Missouri. Vernon was a lifetime member of the Siren VFW Post #1256.
Vernon married the love of his life, Ruth Ann Liljenberg on January 20, 1968 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Webster, WI.
Vernon is preceded in death by his parents; brother; sister; and niece, Christal.
He will be greatly miss by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruth Ann; children, Keith Buskirk and Vernon Jr. (Tami) Buskirk; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Scott, Morgan, John, Alexa, Dillon, Zack, Alex; great grandchildren, Jake, Carly, Chevelle, Grace, Tucker; sister; brother; uncle, Darrold Doriott; brother in laws, Donnie (Bev) Liljenberg and Fred (June) Liljenberg; sister in laws, Rose Mary Gaylor and Mary Liljenberg; nephew, Kelly Joe Buskirk; cousin, Mary Jones; along with many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
