Vera Ebert

Vera H. Ebert, age 89, a longtime resident of Montgomery, Minnesota died peacefully on January 18, 2010 surrounded by her family. Vera was born on October 15, 1920 in Chaska, Minnesota to William and Elvina Moldenhauer. Vera married Aloysius (Al) Ebert in Tucson, Arizona. They moved to Montgomery with their son, David in 1948. Vera worked summers for Green Giant. She enjoyed fishing and was active at St. John Lutheran Church. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Al in 1993. Vera is survived by her son, David (Gloria) Ebert, grandchildren Christine and John, her sister Dorothy Pauly. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM (visitation 9:30-11:00 AM) at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery, Minnesota with Pastor Robert Rendahl officiating. Music was provided by Kathy Heyda. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church, Montgomery, Minnesota.
