Tracy Skinaway

Tracy Brian Skinaway (Bagwudge inni) , age 51, of Saint Paul, MN, passed away early Friday morning, September 1, 2017. Tracy was born in Frederic, WI, on October 31, 1965, to parents, Bennie and Marion (Bearheart) Skinaway.  He attended public schools in Saint Paul, and was a graduate of Como Park High School.  Prior to becoming ill, Tracy was employed as a metal plater. Tracy loved the game of baseball, and was a huge fan of the New York Yankees.  He enjoyed watching and listening to live professional baseball.  He also loved being an umpire for baseball and soft pitch softball for the St. Paul area recreational centers.  Tracy also enjoyed playing dart games and playing pool. He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie; and brothers: Bennie, Jr., Darryl (Jolene), and Kelly. Tracy is survived by his mother, Marion; a daughter, Ashley Trenary; grandchildren, Quentin and Jayden; sister, Melissa (Russ) Zahradka; brothers, William and Kim (Shawna) Skinaway; nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Relatives and friends may call after 6:00 pm, Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the St. Croix Tribal Hall, Danbury, WI.  The funeral service will be conducted at the Tribal Hall beginning at 10:00 am, Monday, Sep. 4 th , with Lee Obizaan Staples officiating.  Interment will follow in Danbury Cemetery. Casket bearers are: Kim Skinaway, Morris Bearheart, Jr., JohnRay Bearheart, Eli Nelson, Edward Christensen, and Darrel Fairbanks. Arrangements have been entrusted with Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, WI.
