Thomas Lee Faudree, III , age 80, of Webb Lake, WI, passed away Monday morning, August 7, 2017. Thomas was born in Peoria, Illinois, on November 5, 1936, the only child of the late Mary Virginia (Chance) and Thomas Lee Faudree, Jr. He was a 1954 graduate of Sterling Township High School in Sterling, IL. Tom furthered his education receiving a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Analytical Chemistry, and then obtaining a Master’s degree from Roosevelt College in Physics and Mathematics. On June 30, 1957, Tom married Beverly Wolber in Sterling, IL. Married over 50 years, Beverly passed away April 10, 2008. In 1984, they purchased a cabin in the Town of Webb Lake, WI, and made it their permanent home in 1998. On August 1, 2009, Tom married long-time friend, the former Evelyn “June” Herrli at Calvary Community Church in Schaumburg, IL. Tom lived and worked in communities in Ohio and Illinois. His work history includes Glastic Corp., Norplex Corp., Western Electric, and lastly Swagelok Company. He had also been part owner of a coal mine in southern Ohio. Tom was a member of Indianhead Rifle and Pistol Club, and was an avid Trap and Skeet Shooter. He was an Eagle Scout, and had served as a Boy Scout Leader. Besides shooting, he enjoyed camping and fishing, and was a Green Bay Packer fan and Cleveland Indians fan. Tom was well known for his quick wit and very active mind. Surviving are his wife, June Faudree; sons: Thomas Lee Faudree, IV, and his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy,” and William Faudree and his wife, Miriam; grandchildren: Correan (Autam) Foltz, Thomas Lee (Angie) Faudree V, Miranda Faudree, Thomas “TC” Faudree, and Michelle (Brian) Liszka; great-grandchildren: Jakob, Sophia, Zoe, and Finley; and Avery and Hunter. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am (visitation 10:00 to 11:00 am), Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Crossroads Community Church, 28509 County Road H (1/4 mile north of County A), in the Town of Scott. Interment will be in Webb Lake Cemetery followed by a fellowship luncheon at the church. Casket bearers are: Thomas L. Faudree IV, William Faudree, Thomas L. Faudree V, Autam Foltz, Brian Liszka, Paul Ashworth, and Ken Strotheide. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Regional Hospice are appreciated.
