Terri J. Minick, age 72, a resident of Shell Lake WI, passed away on November 27, 2020.
Terri was born on August 20, 1948 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Ira Ray “Zeke” and Doris Williams. She was a 1966 graduate of Fountain Central.
Terri lived her entire life in Mellott, Indiana and in 2018 moved to her daughter’s home in Shell Lake WI. While in Mellott she was an active member of the Mellott Church. Terri enjoyed participating in water aerobics with her friends. She loved to play euchre, traveling, and going to dinner theatre. Terri was a happy, energetic person who was known for her infectious laugh. She was a drum majorette and cheer leader in high school. Most recently she had been a member of the Happy Day Club in Spooner.
She worked in the Telecommunications Department for 20+ years at Purdue University in West Lafayette IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Ira Ray and Doris; her brother, Tony Williams and her stepson, John David “JD” Minick.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla (Troy) Goetz; stepson, Doug (Joyce) Minick; her sister in law, Diane Williams; grandchildren, Connar Goetz, Jadee Goetz, Jalen Goetz, Carson Minick, and Kalie Minick Smart; her nephew, Tony Ray Williams; along with other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in Mellott, IN later in 2021. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster. Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com.
