Steven M. Zelinski, age 42, a resident of Webster died Sunday, May 18, 2014. Steven was born on April 1, 1972 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Martin and Carolyn Zelinski. Steven spent his early childhood in Stillwater, Minnesota before moving to Webster at the age of 6 where he was baptized on September 10, 1972. Steven attended Webster High School, an honor role student graduating in May 1990. He went on to attend University of Minnesota – Duluth where he graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering. He went on to acquire his Masters Degree from St. Thomas University. Steven worked at Nexen in Webster as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for 13 years and spent 2 years after that at McNally Industries. He then owned and operated Zelinski & Sons Roofing Company. His most recently worked as a CNC Router/Programmer at Bishop Fixture & Millwork in Balsam Lake. Steven is survived by his sons Zachary and Ian; his parents Martin (Carolyn) Zelinski; brother Michael (Tammy) Zelinski; nephew Nikolai; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster with Father Mike Tupa as celebrant. Interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Oakland Township, Wisconsin. Pallbearers will be Brian Rossow, Denny Snarski, Aaron Strang, Charlie Weiss, Al Steiner, and Mike Zelinski. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster.
