Stephen A Dziok (nee D'Jock), age 50, passed away peacefully Thursday March 7, 2013 after a heroic 22 month battle with GBM, brain cancer. He died at home in Redmond Washington, cared for by his wife Anne and children Griffin and Chloe. Stephen was born in Siren Wisconsin on May 23, 1962 to Louis and Patricia D' Jock. He grew up in Siren and Graduated from Siren High School in May of 1980. He went on to receive an Associates in Electronic Technology from Northwestern Electronics Institute, a Bachelors of Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and entered the Masters of Software Design and Development program at the University of St. Thomas. Steve married Anne Edstrom on September 29, 1989 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Blaine, Minnesota. They soon moved to Colorado Springs and began raising their family. Another move took them to Redmond, Washington and a position with Microsoft. Throughout the years Steve enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing, biking, family trips and working with both the Boy and Girl Scouts. His witty humor was enjoyed by many, if they were listening. He was committed to doing good whether helping with the Voices of 911 I Project, Scouting service projects, dog and cat rescue efforts, contributing to fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis, Dana Farber, Seattle Brain Cancer Walk, he always wished he could do more. Stephen is preceded in death by his sister Susan D' Jock, grandparents Frank and Rose D' Jock, Archie and Dorothy Theroux and uncle Archie, Jr. Stephen is survived by his wife, Anne Dziok, children Griffin Dziok and Chloe Dziok, parents Louis and Patricia D'Jock, siblings Timothy, David (Sharon), Daniel, Sandra, Sally and Anthony. Memorial Service in Washington State will be on March 16, 2013 at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 10526 166th Ave NE, Redmond. Visitation will be at 10:00am and Service at 11:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday March 23 at 11:00am (visitation 10:00-11:00am) at St. Dominic Catholic Church (Wisconsin 35 and Birch, Frederic WI). Interment will follow at Siren Lakeview Cemetery.
