Stanley L. Kistler, age 80, of Siren, passed away on April 23, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI. Stanley was born in Syracuse, IN to J. Russell and Mary Kistler on July 17, 1930. Stanley graduated from Syracuse High School in 1947, after which, he spent four years in the U.S. Navy. He married Judith Johnson in 1954. To this union 2 children were born, Karen and Karl Kistler. He worked at Liberty Coach in Syracuse. In 1965, the family moved to Siren, WI and owned a resort. Later, he did factory work and was a plant manager in Falun, WI. He finished his career at North States in Siren. His first wife, Judith, died in 1989. He married Judy Coen in 1996. Stanley loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends. Stanley was preceded in death by wife, Judith, parents and brother, Claude. He is survived by wife, Judy, daughter, Karen, son, Karl, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 step children, Tom Coen, Dan Coen and Becky Doll, 2 step grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. He was loved and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 12 pm (visitation 10:30 am to 12:00 pm) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren Chapel. Interment will follow at Bone Lake Cemetery.
