Wayne “Scott” Staples (Cheese), age 68 of Danbury passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Scott was born on March 21, 1956, in Siren to Wayne W. and Renee B. Staples.
Scott most recently worked for the St. Croix Casino Danbury for 32 years, prior to that he was employed by Cliff People’s Masonry of Webb Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Renee.
He is survived by his son, Teddy Staples; daughter, Amanda (Travis) Morse; grandchildren, Lanie and Lucas; great grandson, Lincoln; brother, Gerald (Cheryl) Staples and sister, Dawn Staples (Larry); along with other relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster. A luncheon will follow at Swiss Town Hall following the gathering at the funeral home.
