Sandra K. DeMarre, age 78, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
Sandra was born in Grantsburg on August 23, 1943 to parents, Edgar and Merle Larson.
She was a graduate of Unity High School. She was a longtime cook at establishments in the area and also had worked in housekeeping at the Hole in the Wall Casino.
Sandra was active in the Grantsburg American Legion Auxiliary and was a true Packer fan. She enjoyed dining out, camping, playing solitaire, doing needlework and taking long drives along the north shore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl Clover and Robert DeMarre and great grandchild, Teddy.
She will be missed by her children, Lisa (Ricky) Goepfert; Dan (Brenda) Clover and Kristin Clover; her stepchildren, Chrissy DeMarre, Robby DeMarre and Erye DeMarre; grandchildren, Lucas Clover, Jessica Clover, Alicia Johnson, Ashley Ward, Brittany Goepfert, Jasmine, Cheyane, Annissa and Misty; great grandchildren, Tommy, Kylie, Kacie, Liam, Andrew, Tiffany, Charlotte, Kory, Chevy, Rider and Bently; her cat, Glinda; along with other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM (visitation 1-2 pm) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
