Rose Chute

Rose Katherine Krueger Chute , age 85, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019. Rose was born on January 22, 1934 in Perham, Minnesota to parents, Joseph and Helen (Gerber) Krueger. She grew up in Perham, attended school and graduated from the Perham School District. Rose loved watching the birds and being outdoors in her garden.  She was a sports enthusiast, enjoyed cheering on the Minnesota Twins. She had a strong Christian Faith and spending time with family was very important to her.  She loved the holidays. Rose was known for her devotions and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Rose was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Agnes and Eileen; and brothers, Jerome, Jim and John. She will be sadly missed by her children, Linda (Jim) Reese, Lauri (Bill) Nelson, Cindy (Rick) Antonczak, Cheryl (Tom) Berner, JoAnn Java, Vaughn Chute, Vernon Chute and Len (Kate) Chute; her 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM (visitation 9-11 AM) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grantsburg with Father Joseph Madanu as Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.  Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com.
