Ronald Yourchuck

Ronald “Ron” Andrew Yourchuck, age 79, a resident of Siren, WI., passed away on June 8, 2024 with his loved ones by his side.

Ron was born on August 5, 1944 in Siren, WI., to parents Andrew and Esther (Olson) Yourchuck. He graduated from Siren High School in 1962. In 1966 he was drafted into the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1968.

Ron married the love of his life, Cindy Bruss on March 22, 1969. Together they had 2 daughters, Rhonda and Jodi.

Ron owned and operated Y&S Disposal Inc. for a number of years before selling. He then delivered trusses for K-Wood. After officially retiring Ron was usually seen driving his UTV with his trusty side kick.

Some of Ron’s hobbies he enjoyed were hunting and fishing. He was an avid card player, he was a lover of pets and was a huge role model to his grandchildren which he loved dearly. Ron was a long-time member of the Siren Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, Fishbowl Sportsman Club and was a previous member of the Siren Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ron will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Cindy; children, Rhonda (Craig) Highstrom and Jodi (Virgil) Maslow; grandchildren, Bryce (Mercedes Moody) Highstrom, Dolan (Kaeleigh Taylor) Highstrom, Derek (Samantha Dodge) Highstrom, Cassandra Maslow and McCoy Maslow; along with other relatives and many friends.

The celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4-7 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Siren, WI. The VFW Post 1256 and Army will be conducting honors at 6:30 PM.
