Roberta Thomas

Roberta Lynn Thomas, 55, of Webster passed away unexpectedly November 27, 2013 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Roberta "Bobbie" was born October 28, 1958 to Shirley (Taylor) and William Dozois in Chicago Illinois. She worked at St. Croix Casino for many years where she was the head cashier and a shift manager. She also was the Elder Program Director. Roberta enjoyed the gaming industry and its traditions. Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Robert Oiyotte II, her brothers Frank Barber, William G. Barber and William J. Barber. She will by sadly missed by her son; Frank Thomas III, her daughter; Tashena (Steve Miller) Dozois and many nieces, nephews and other relatives, including 8 grandchildren, as well as many good friends. A visitation was held at St. Croix Tribal Center on Saturday, November 30, 2013 starting at 4:00pm. Funeral service were Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2:00pm at the St. Croix Tribal Center in Hertel, Wisconsin with Lewis Taylor officiating. Pallbearers were David St. John, Adrian Barber, Randy Phernetton, William G. Barber, Steven Miller, Frank Thomas III. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Phernetton and Gerald McFaggen. Arrangements entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster Wisconsin.
