Robert “Bob” C. Shaffer , age 63, of Webster, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2020.
Bob was born on November 7, 1956, in Frederic, WI, to parents, Beatryce (Connor) and Clarence Shaffer. The youngest of three, Bob graduated from Superior Senior High in 1974. On August 31, 1974,
Bob was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Roberta “Bobbie” Lien.
Bob drilled wells and tested holes for Anderson Well Drilling for 5 years. He was also a custodian for the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 for 19 years. In 1998, the couple moved home to the Webster area where Bob continued to do the things he loved.
Bob loved to cook Chinese food, scuba dive and spending time visiting and joking around with family and friends. He loved to go have coffee and breakfast at local establishments. He also had a passion for music and being involved with setting up light and sound for his local band productions and area school plays.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents; and sister, Rosemarie Olson; and nephew, Mike.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Shaffer; daughters, Tina (Jeff) Thorson and Sarah Shaffer (Kris); grandchildren: Sarah, Riley and Cali; sister, Patricia (John) Lindquist; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Shaffer residence, 6405 County Road A, Webster, WI.
