Robert Brewster

Robert “Bob” Brewster Son… Husband… Father… Grandpa Robert “Bob Olen Brewster, of Siren, WI, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, May 27, 2017. Bob was born December 2, 1946, in Norris, Tennessee.  James and Florence Brewster welcomed him into their home and family.  Bob joined the army at age 17.  After leaving the army, Bob spent the rest of his years in Siren, WI.  On June 21, 1974, he married the love of his life, Janet Struck, and began his family. At this time, Bob was the owner and operator of Woodland Auto Body, and later he added Quality Auto Body.  He later went on to Larsen Auto Centers in Webster, WI where he spent the next 25+ years selling cars and being the general manager. Bob will be remembered as a wonderful and generous man whose love of life was only overshadowed by his love of his family; especially his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, and sister.  All of us who have been fortunate enough to know Bob will understand how they were better for knowing him, and for the love and wisdom that he shared with us all. Bob’s passion in life was being a father and grandfather to his loving family.  He loved buying and trading cars, playing poker, coffee & Marlboro Reds, and tinkering in his yard and workshop.  Bob had a heart of gold and would drop everything to lend a hand when needed. Bob is survived by his mother, Florence Brewster of Siren, WI; as well as his loving wife, Janet, of 43 years; and his sister, Ann Kogler, of Webster, WI.  He is also survived by his daughters, Jill and John Tinman of Siren WI, and Rachael and Gary Bearhart of Danbury WI; one son, James and Sarah Brewster of Frederic WI; as well as 12 grandchildren: Autumn, Austin, Chris, Damon, AJ, Rilee, Savanna, Chance, Tanner, Calvin, Walter, and Olen.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Brewster.  A celebration of life service will be held from 4 -8 PM on Friday, June 2 nd at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI, with a memory sharing time beginning at 7:00 pm.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.swedberg-taylor.com .
