Rita Tesch

Rita M. Tesch, age 81, a resident of Webster, WI., passed away on January 31, 2025 at home with her loved ones by her side. Rita was born on February 9, 1943 in St. Paul, MN to Robert and Eleanor Brandl.

Rita attended and graduated from Wilson High School in St. Paul, MN in 1960, she had 2 years of college and became an underwriter for insurance for Alexander and Alexander of St. Paul for 6 years.

Rita married William H. Tesch on February 25, 1989 in Las Vegas. Then they moved to Webster, WI., in 1992.

Rita enjoyed shooting pool, playing horseshoes, bowling, gardening and crocheting. She worked at Black & Orange as a mixologist for 15 years.

Rita is preceded in death by her husband, William Tesch; her mother, Eleanor Matykiewicz; her father, Robert Brandl; and her brother, Robert Brandl Jr.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Dawn (Mike Close) Thom, Deborah (Scott Goering) Thom, June Brandl; sister-in-law and stepchildren, Sue (Curt Roosov) Tesch, Bob and Lisa Tesch, Scott Tesch and Billy Tesch; step grandchildren and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Lily Lake Tavern in Webster, WI.
