Richard “Rich” Joseph Leight, Sr., age 66, of Hinckley, MN passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Richard “Rich” was born on March 24, 1951 in Forest Lake, MN to parents, Edward T. and Eleen V. (Boije) Leight. Rich married Rebecca M. Beaufeaux on August 17, 1977 in Watertown, SD. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather. He was very handy around the house. He enjoyed welding and could fix nearly anything. He loved to hunt whitetail deer and he loved to fish, both on the boat and on the ice. Rich worked as a Beverage Server for the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN where he was always entertaining and making others laugh. Rich was fondly known as “Pa” to all his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Leight; children, Joe, Richard Jr. “Rick”, Robert, Robyn, and Roland; grandchildren, Christian, Thomas, Anara; five sisters, three brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, other grandchildren and many friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Thomas Leight Jr. “Buzzy” A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, WI on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00AM (visitation 10-11:00 AM) with a luncheon to follow.
