Rhunae Buskirk

Rhunae L. Buskirk, age 66, of Webster died March 31, 2010 at her home. Rhunae was born on July 8, 1943 to Melvin and Bertha Buskirk in Webster. Rhunae was employed at Capeside Cove Good Samaritan Center in Siren as a CNA for over 20 years. She also worked for Indianhead Action Agency during food distribution for two years. Rhunae enjoyed reading, doing puzzle books and for entertainment she liked throwing horseshoes and playing pool. Rhunae was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christal, grandson Steven and brother Kelvin. She is survived by her children Sheila (Loren) Simon, Melissa Honts, Mathew Simon, grandchildren Hailey, Patricia, Bradley, Aaron and Douglas, her sister Bea Reese, brothers Vernon and Corky Buskirk; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside service was held Friday, April 9, 2010 at Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
