Quentin Miller

Quentin Miller, age 90, a resident of Falun, WI passed away on October 25, 2023 at the Burnett Medical Continuing Care Center. Quentin was born on February 17, 1933 in Swiss Township, Wisconsin to parents Edgar and Josephine (Prell) Miller.

Quentin graduated from Webster High School in 1951 and farmed with his parents for many years. He served in the U.S. Army. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with his bachelor's degree in business. He returned to the family farm in Falun.

Quentin was the treasurer for Wood River Township for over 30 years and the treasurer for the Grantsburg Fair board for 40+ years. He also prepared income tax returns for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Riley Miller and Kenneth Miller, and two sisters, Vivian Culbertson Salzman and Bernice Bohl. He is survived by 4 generations of nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Grantsburg, WI with Pastor John Addison officiating and with full military honors. Burial will follow at Viola Lake Cemetery with pallbearers Randy Culbertson, Brian Hansen, Darrell Jr (DJ) Olson, Brett Olson, Mark Brennan and Zach Culbertson. Honorary pallbearers are 4 generations of nephews and nieces.
