Pearl Anderson

Pearl Dorothy Anderson, age 96, a resident of Grantsburg, WI passed away on July 18, 2022 at her home.
Pearl was born on December 28, 1925 in Theodore, Saskatchewan in Canada to parents Richard and Maude (Day) Tietz.
After Pearls kids graduated, she worked part time for Normark Corporation as an assembly packer for Fishing Lures and Knifes.
Pearl married the love of her life Selmer Anderson on January 2, 1944 in Audubon MN.
Pearl was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. In her free time, she enjoyed camping with family and friends, sewing, baking, gardening but most of all she loved to bird watch.
Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, Selmer; daughter, Debra; granddaughters, Hope and Abbigail; brothers, Raymond, Duane and David; sisters, Evelyn, Mable and Vianna.
She is survived by her children, Judi Lund, Gary (Liz) Anderson, Larry (Karin) Anderson and Bob (Mericris) Anderson; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Virgil) Seegebarth; brother, Vernon (Nettie) Zehms; along with other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church in Grantsburg, WI with a luncheon and time for visiting following the service.
