Pauline Hagen

Pauline R. Hagen, age 93, of Webster, Wisconsin, formerly of Rosebud, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2015. Pauline was born on January 15, 1922 in Rosebud, Texas to parents, John and Helene Baumgartner. Pauline spent the early years of her life growing up in Rosebud and graduated from Rosebud High School in 1940. She met Donovan Hagen while he was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. They married on May 6, 1944 and together they owned and operated Hagen’s Floor Service in Rosebud, until they moved to Wisconsin in 1972. Pauline and Donovan were longtime members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Webster, Wisconsin, having joined the parish in 1972. Pauline was also very active in the American Legion Auxiliary in Webster, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, John and Helene Baumgartner; husband, Donovan Hagen; son, Mark Hagen; three half brothers; and three half sisters. Pauline is survived by her children, John (Judy) Hagen, Marie Masters; sisters-in-law, Mabel Blaha, Ruth Twining; grandchildren, Tina (Chuck) Pocernich, Rick (Sarah) Hagen; five great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; six step granddaughters; seventeen step great grandchildren; eight step great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation for Pauline will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 4-8pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, Wisconsin. Funeral Services for Pauline will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00am at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Webster, Wisconsin with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers are Rick Hagen, Chuck Pocernich, Caleb Pocernich, Paxton Pocernich, Adam Pocernich and Ron Pagenkopf. Honorary Pallbearers are Roger Tollander, Garrick Hagen, Bain Hagen, Dennis Minor and Bob Ramstrom. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the American Legion Auxiliary of Webster, Wisconsin.
