Paul Howard Anderson, 77, of Webster passed away on February 19, 2017 at the Continuing Care Center in Grantsburg, WI. He was born on April 28, 1939 to Roy and Shirley Anderson. He grew up on the family’s dairy farm in Wood River Township. Paul attended the North Fork Grade School and the Grantsburg High School. He also attended WITC in Rice Lake for carpentry and cabinet making, obtaining an Associate’s Degree. Paul then worked at McNally Industries before beginning his business Anderson Construction, building and remodeling homes. Many homes in the surrounding area of Grantsburg were built by Paul and the crews he worked with. He married Lillian Lundquist on September 14, 1963. They were blessed with three sons: Wayne, Dean and Scott. Paul had many interests, including fishing, hunting, gardening and travelling. He also loved farming and John Deere tractors. The time he spent with his family were very important and special to Paul. He was “the best” husband, dad, and grandpa. Paul’s faith in God was an example to his family and to others. Several days before his death, his wife asked Paul if he was afraid of the future. He answered by saying, “Not one bit, Lil.” He knew he was heaven bound and ready to meet Jesus. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Shirley Anderson, and two brothers Eldo and Ardell. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian; his children Wayne (Martha) Anderson, Dean (Barb) Anderson, and Scott (Robin) Anderson; his sister Peggy (Roger) Johnson, brother Dwight (Ruth) Anderson, and sisters-in-law Lois Anderson and Bev Anderson; his grandchildren Brett and Luke Anderson, and one expected child by Scott and Robin Anderson. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at the First Baptist Church of Webster. A luncheon will follow at the church.
