Patrick Powers

Patrick Lawrence "Bubby" Powers, age 63, of the Webster WI area, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 10,2015, surrounded by his loved ones, after a long battle with cancer. He was provided loving care by JoAnne and other staff from Regional Hospice Services that Pat's family deeply appreciates. Pat was born in Saint Paul, MN, on May 7, 1952, a son of the late Lawrence Donald Powers and Marjorie Jean (Adkins) Powers. He was an outdoors man he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew him! Surviving are his two children: Sonia (Jeff) and Jason (Angie); former wife, Kathy; two grandchildren, Juliana and Blake; brothers: Ricky (Kathy) Powers and Martin (Olga) Powers; sisters: Julie (Phil) Pierce, Lynne (Dale) Ganser, and Victoria (Steve) Rainer; many nieces and nephews; and little buddy, Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life in honor of Bubby Powers will be held between 12:00 pm (noon) and 5:00 pm, Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Pavilion 1, Coon Lake County Park, 5450 197th Avenue NE, Columbus, MN 55092. Local arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Webster, Wisconsin.
