Norma Friel

Norma L. Friel, age 81, of Webster, passed away on April 4, 2020, at her home after a few year battle with lung cancer. Norma liked gardening, puzzles and drinking her morning coffee. Preceded in death by her parents, Vera and Emmett Ballhagen; husband, Wayne Friel; son, David Friel; brothers, Maynard and Ronald; and sisters, Shirley and Barbara. Norma is survived by her children: Steve (Donna) Friel, Ronald Friel, Connie Krogstad and Jeff Friel; 14 grandchildren; sister, Carol Friel; beloved cats, Annie and Patch; and many great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life is currently pending at Bethany Lutheran Church in Siren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
