Neil F. Miller, age 85, a resident of Grantsburg passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021.
Neil was born in Grantsburg on December 16, 1935 to Fred and Ella Miller.
He attended school in Grantsburg and went on to Stout State College where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees. He lived in the Roberts, WI area from 1957-1960, then Colby, WI from 1960-1964, Stillwater, MN from 1964-1975, to Hammond, WI from 1975-1983 and finally to Hudson, WI in 1983 where he later retired in 1995 after 38 years in public education as an Industrial Arts/Technology Teacher.
He married Grace Marie Lindberg on November 23, 1957 in Trade Lake.
He attended Bethany Lutheran Church in Siren for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Grace; son, Don; brother, Donald; sister, Loretta Surrell.
He is survived by his son, Brent Miller; daughter, Rhonda (Gary) Polen; sister, Ardyce (Ardy) Kasper; grandchildren, Chris (Alexis), Bethany (Jordan) and Steve; great-grandsons, Garrison and Rigel; along with other relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
