Nancy Bosak

Nancy Bosak, age 76, of Grantsburg passed away unexpectedly March 15, 2013 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota with her loving family at her side. Nancy was born on September 14, 1936 in Coloma, Wisconsin to John, Sr. and Etta Schadow. She was the youngest of four children. On April 21, 1956 she married Gilbert Bosak. To this union three children were born. Nancy enjoyed cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. She had a special passion and interest in watching her grandchildren play in all their sporting events. She watched high school girls softball and volleyball events. Nancy loved to read and play games on the computer. When it came to shopping, she was always a willing participant. She always put other people first. She was a devoted active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Falun and was employed at the Grantsburg Bank for 31 years. Nancy leaves to celebrate her memory loving husband Gilbert; children Brian (Denise), Mike (DeDe) and Lori (Bob) Erickson; her grandchildren Justin, Jason, Jared, Emma, and Kacy; stepgrandchildren Josh, James, and Jesse; great grandchild Jet; step great grandchildren Adrianna, Ian and Maddie; her brothers Donald (Diane) Schadow and Gene (Audrey) Schadow; sister-in-law Vangie Schadow; along with other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents John, Sr. and Etta Schadow and brother Johnnie. Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Trinity Lutheran Church, Falun with Pastor Carl Heidel officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Mudhen Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Bosak, Jason Bosak, Jared Bosak, Doug Segelstrom, Dave Edaburn, and Jesse Swanson.
