Michael Roberts

Michael Andrew Roberts, age 63, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away Thursday morning, March 27, 2017. Michael was born in Lubbock, TX, on May 14, 1953, a son of the late Richard and Phyllis (Swendiman) Roberts. He was a 1971 graduate of Johnson Senior High School in Saint Paul, MN and later attended Central Community College in Grand Island, NE. On July 4, 1997, Mike married Brenda Kay Lawrence in Angola, Indiana. They have resided in Wisconsin since 2005. Mike had been employed at Parker-Hannifin Corp. in Grantsburg. Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda; children: Jeremie (Monica) Roberts, Michelle Roberts, Matthew Roberts, and Billy Jo Gage; grandchildren: Heaven Leigh Adderly, Ryan Plunske, Jewel Roberts, and Jaden Roberts. He is also survived by brothers, Joseph (Karen) Roberts and Jeffrey Roberts. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted with Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Grantsburg, WI.
