Michael C. Liljenberg, age 69, a resident of Siren passed away on December 19, 2021 at his home after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Michael was born on May 18, 1952 to Fred and Lena (Burlingame) Liljenberg in Oregon.
He worked at Northern Manufacturing in Grantsburg, North States and in Falun driving truck. He worked in the woods for awhile before going back to driving truck for others. His last employer was Jerry Rand. He then purchased 2 trucks of his own. After he retired, he kept busy doing odd jobs.
Michael enjoyed being outdoors deer hunting, fishing, horseback riding and going to garage sales. His most treasured time was spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 half-brothers, John Honts and Lester Honts.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Radke); 2 sons, Michael L. (Angel) Liljenberg and Fred E. (Betsy) Liljenberg; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; step-daughter, Sherry McIvor; 2 brothers, Fred, Jr. (June), and Don (Bev) Liljenberg; sister, Ruthann (Vernon) Buskirk; half-sister, Rosemarie Gaylor Honts; his longtime deer hunting friends, Jerry Rand and Marty Tendrup; along with several nieces and nephews, friends and family.
No services were held.
