Mary Hills

Mary J. Hills, 59, a resident of Danbury passed away on March 25, 2010. Mary was born on April 3, 1950 to Curtis and Vera Leske in Stillwater, Minnesota. She grew up in the Stillwater/Oakdale areas and graduated in 1968 from North St. Paul High School. Mary married Don that same year and they have been together ever since. To this union two children were born, Donald and Bonnie. Mary loved being outdoors with her horses, cows and dogs. She enjoyed looking at the fall colors and she liked to go fishing. Mary also enjoyed playing horseshoes which she won many trophies. She also enjoyed playing softball. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma. She was loved by her family and friends and wiill be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents. She is survived by her husband Donald, her children Donald (Kristin) Hills, Bonnie (Mike) Hanley, her grandchildren Brett, Caitlin, Alyssa, Matthew, brothers Billy (Rosie) Leske, George Leske, and Allen (Shotzy) Leske, along with nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Ward officiating.
