Marlys Cook

Marlys J. Cook, age 69, a resident of Webster died September 23, 2011 surrounded by her family. Marlys was born on June 4, 1942 in Hastings, Minnesota to Walter and Minnie Olson. She married Ken on October 8, 1960 in Cresco, Iowa. Marlys worked as a real estate agent for over 25 years in both Arizona and Wisconsin. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, gardening, boating, and spending time with her family. Marlys was preceded in death by her parents; her brother James and sister Kay. She is survived by her loving husband Ken; children Ritchard (Joyce) Cook and Mary Kay Bakke; her grandchildren Brandy (Jarod) Horstman, Sara (Jeremy) Breiwick, Stephanie (Mathew) Randt, Keenan Cook, Lexi Symond, Jade Horstman and Chase Horstman; her great grandchildren Landyn and Levi Randt; along with other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 2:00-6:00 PM at their home in Webster. All family and friends are welcome.
