Marlin “Mike” Leonard Roy , age 79, of Siren, WI, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, April 27, 2018. Over the years, Mike did a lot of traveling for a gas company, until realizing he wanted to go home, buy a café and cook, providing homemade working man’s meal. He then bought Ma’s café and turned it into Mainstreet Café in Siren, WI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with the “local grumpy old men.” His contagious smile and hearty laugh will be missed dearly. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alice (Daniels) Roy; maternal grandparents, Bernard and Alma Daniels; and paternal grandparents, Victor and Martha Roy. He is survived by his daughters, Becky Roy of Maple Grove, MN, Conny (Brian) Daeffler of Frederic, WI, Caralin (Richard) Gibson of Brooklyn Park, MN and their mother, Susan Roy; grandchildren: Victoria, Hanna, Alex and Malachi; great-grandson, Clay; sister, Jo Roy of Osseo, MN; and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 1-3:00 PM at Brian and Conny Daeffler's residence 1567 345th Ave, Frederic, WI, 54837.
