Marjorie Sorensen

Marjorie Emily (Hedberg) Sorensen, of Webb Lake, Wisconsin died August 29, 2015. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota to William and Esther Hedberg in 1930, Marjorie graduated from high school in Webster, Wisconsin and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. Following graduation, she taught for one year in Drummond, Wisconsin before marrying Frank and raising her family in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Marjorie and Frank retired to Webb Lake, Wisconsin in 1987 where she was a member of the Community Club, serving as Treasurer for many years and was known for her dedication and generosity. Marjorie loved her large family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank Charles Sorensen; her children, Melinda Ann (Mike) Keck, Donald William Sorensen, Kristin May Sorensen and Carol Jean (Eric) Andersen; brother, William Hedberg; sister-in law, Lynn (William) Brrna. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Memorial Service for Marjorie will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00am, with visitation starting at 10:00am, at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI.
