Marilyn Rose Zwiers , age 83, of Trade Lake Township, relocated to Heaven, on September 15, 2019.
Marilyn was born on May 28, 1936, to parents, Margaret (Schuster) and David Bachman. She was the second of seven children whom she loved and cared for. They lived a good part of their childhood in Minneapolis where she went to the Old South High. When she graduated, she went to the University of Minnesota where she not only studied, but she worked and also she helped out at home with her younger siblings. She then was married to Duane Zwiers, a civil engineer who worked for the state of Minnesota. They resided in Minneapolis for a short time until they moved to North Saint Paul. She taught Junior High French and English until they adopted 2 children: Arlene and Lynn. At this time, she stopped teaching to become a fully devoted mother and wife. She sang alto in many choirs, taught many children about Jesus, was in and helped lead many Bible studies and most certainly was loved! She enjoyed sewing and designing clothing and knitting sweaters. Her daughter-in-law, Kay (Gear) Zwiers and son-in-law, Robert Rauchbauer brought her great joy! She loved her grandkids well; Ryan, Joel, Noah, and Trent Rauchbauer and Henry, Russell and Theodore Zwiers. Her battle with Alzheimer’s was long... she lived first with Duane until he passed, and the past 3 years have been spent living with Arlene and her family in Trade Lake, WI. Where she enjoyed copious amounts of coffee, spent many hours listening to birds, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face, commenting on the flower gardens, reading, and doing puzzles... She is a woman, a prayer warrior for God... a woman loved by many and a woman after God's own heart. Enjoy your new role in heaven Mom until we meet again, and time will never end...#JESUSJUSTJESUS
