Marian Benjamin

Marian M. Benjamin , age 79, of Bashaw, passed away on September 21, 2019, at her home.
Marian was born on August 27, 1940, to parents, Annie (Pike) and Louis Matrious Sr.
Marian was united in marriage to Bernard Benjamin in 1957. Together they raised four children. And in 1970, the couple decided to go their separate ways, but forever remained friends.
Marian loved to draw, paint. She also liked to gamble and go for long drives in her beloved pickup truck. Above all else, Marian loved to spend time with family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Jennifer Benjamin, Bernadette Benjamin and Cordell Benjamin; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceding Marian in death are her parents; husband, Bernard; children, Bernard Benjamin Jr. and Harlys Benjamin; grandchildren: Erica, Blake and Ashely; siblings: Irene, Vivian, Thelma and Louis Jr.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, beginning at 6:00pm at the Aazhoomog Community Center in Sandstone, MN. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, beginning at 10:00am also at the Aazhoomog Community Center.
