Margaret “Peggy” J. Bachand Werth, age 96, a resident of Superior passed away on August 21, 2020.
Margaret was born on December 22, 1923 in Superior to William and Elizabeth Bachand. She attended St. Louis Elementary School and Cathedral High School.
A special thank you to the staff at Harmony House for the wonderful, loving care they gave Peggy.
Peggy was a Histology Technician and work for St. Luke Hospital for many years. She married Paul Werth on February 12, 2000 in Superior, Wisconsin. In Peggy’s free time she enjoyed reading, knitting, exercising, traveling, and shopping with her sister. Catholic Daughters of the Americas, court 1190 and St. Francis volunteer.
Peggy was proceeded in death by her husband; Paul Werth; Her parents; William and Elizabeth Bachand; Her siblings; Terrence (Edith) Bachand, Stephan (Helen) Bachand, Louise (Edward) Olens, Bernice (Chester) Olenski.
She is survived by her late husband Paul’s Siblings; Mary; Fran; Jean; John; Fred; Bernice; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews; along with 3 special nieces who were like daughters, Peggy (Mark) McCarthy; Mary (Brad) Tafs; Cathy (Donald) Williams.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 10:00 am at Cathedral of Christ the King Church in Superior, Wisconsin with a service by the Father Andrew Ricci to follow at 11:00 am. An interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Superior, Wisconsin. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster. Online Condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com
