Lynn Runnels

Lynn Darrold Runnels, age 81, a resident of Frederic passed away on February 4, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born on September 2, 1940 to Ralph and Mercedes Runnels. He lived in Minot, North Dakota where he attended Minot/Model Schools.

Lynn met Anna Braun of Lemon, South Dakota and was married on July 25, 1964. He and Anna were blessed with 4 children, Peter, Steven, Larry and Marie.

Lynn worked for Adressograph Multigraph Corp as a service and sales representative. Lynn and Anna moved to Frederic in May 1978 where Lynn worked at the Inter County Leader for 30 years as a print press operator. Lynn was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Lynn had many hobbies including fishing, golf, playing cards, wood working, loved to dance and making projects with his grandchildren.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack; daughter in law, Shari Runnels; mother in law, Amelia; father in law, Steve; sister in law and brother in law, Patricia (Larry) Randash and brother in law, James Duncan.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anna; his children, Peter (Sandra), Steven (Elizabeth), Larry (Melissa), Marie (Travis); brother, Donavon; sister, Sally; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; along with other relatives and many dear friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Frederic.

Interment will take place on June 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Frederic, WI.
