Lynn Johnson

Lynn Johnson, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 4 th , 2019. He was born on July 17, 1939 to Oscar and Gertrude Johnson in Clam Falls Wisconsin. He was a longtime resident of Falun Wisconsin. He is survived by his daughter Jill, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister Alma Karels, sister in laws Elsie Johnson, Verna Ostman, and Judy Sanda, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Lynn attended Maple Valley School through eighth grade and graduated from Frederic High School in 1957. He was united in marriage to Boots Breen in Nov of 1962.  Mark and Jill completed their family.  Lynn and Boots enjoyed many good times of camping, they loved going new places, meeting new friends and sitting around the campfire. Lynn wore many hats during his lifetime, including laying curb and gutter, construction, weather radio, ham radio, and of course, coffee with friends. Lynn retired from K-Wood Truss. Lynn loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time with his church family at New Hope Lutheran Church. He had a very kind heart and quick wit and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Leland and Gerald, wife Boots and son Mark. A memorial service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church, 685 West State Road 70, Grantsburg, Wisconsin with Pastor Emory Johnson officiating. Saturday September 14, 2019 11: 00 AM.  Visitation will begin prior to the funeral at 10:00 AM. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends. Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to New Hope Lutheran Church.
