Lorraine Katherine Haaf, age 92, of New Richmond, formerly of Siren, Wisconsin, passed away on August 4, 2015 at the New Richmond Health Center. Lorraine worked as an assistant manager in laundry at United Hospital for 25 years. She then went on to work at the Holiday Village Grocery in Milltown as the deli manager. She enjoyed being active in the Moose Lodge where she was designated head of the kitchen. Lorraine was an active member and served as an usher at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Webster, Wisconsin. Preceeded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Margaret Fuerstenberg; husband, Adolf Haaf; brothers, Richard Fuerstenberg, Francis Fuerstenberg, Robert Fuerstenberg; sisters, infant twins, Alice Trevino, and Maryann Pierce; brother in-laws; Art (Ruth) Haaf, Harold (Gertrude) Haaf, Fred (Louise) Haaf, Clifford (Wally) Haaf, Kenneth ( Mary) Haaf; sister in-laws, Pauline (Raymond) Fox, Elsie (Gerald) Zinda, Lucille (Ted) Swanson, Violet (Lowell) Klingenberg. Survived by her daughter, Shirley (Ronald) Jarchow; sister, Genieve Mingo; brother, Donald (Mary) Fuerstenberg; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Fuerstenberg, Ida (LaVon) Gates; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM)at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Webster. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home.
