Leslie Mackyol

On Monday, July 26th, 2021 Leslie “Doc” William Mackyol, loving husband, and father, passed away at the age of 76. Leslie was born the youngest of three kids on September 9, 1944 in Superior, WI to Charlotte and William Mackyol. On July 24, 1971 Leslie married the love of his life Barbara Jean Clark. They raised two daughters; Lisa and Lori, and three sons; Louis, Lonnie, and Bradley.
In Leslie’s younger years he served in the Army National Guard, worked in the shipyards in Superior, was a semi-truck driver, and park ranger at Pattison State Park. Then after the family moved to Webster, WI he was a ranger for the DNR, bus driver, and custodian for Webster school, the owner of Lucky 7 janitorial service, and he worked at the St. Croix Casino in Danbury. He was an active member of the Lions Club for many years in both Superior and Webster.
Some of his hobbies include the races, hunting, pitching in softball, bowling, playing cards, and pool. Two of his true passions were ice fishing and the Green Bay Packers. Leslie was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and laugh, and his many jokes.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, William and Charlotte; brother, Louis; sister, Kathleen; son, Bradley; and granddaughters, Lissy and Ava.
He is survived by wife, Barbara; children, Lisa, Lori, Louis (Kelly), Lonnie; many cousins; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
