Larye Olson

Larye E. Olson , age 58, of Siren, WI, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2017 at his residence. Larye was born on November 23, 1958 in Rice Lake, WI, to parents, Jeanette (Sweitzer) and Neil Olson. He graduated from Siren High School in 1976. Larye was employed by Cashco from 1984 – 2006 as a Lumber Sales Representative. In 2006, he began working at Johnson Lumber, now known as ABC, until his passing.  Larye enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Preceding Larye in death is his mother, Jeanette Olson. Larye is survived by his father, Neil Olson; children: Jason Olson, Nicholas Olson, Danielle (Jamie) Eckstrom and Cassandra (Kyle) Hulleman; grandchildren: Isabella, Ryder, Alexa, Haylee, Jaycee, Jayden and Ian; 2 brothers, Jamie (Gayle) Olson and Gary Olson; and other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5-8:00pm at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in SIREN. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00am (visitation from 10-11:00am) at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in SIREN with Pastor Paul Peterson officiating. A time of fellowship will be held following the service at Jed’s Laker Lounge, 24787 Clam Lake Drive, Siren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Siren.
