LaMoynne “Buzzy” Gardner, age 90, a resident of Shell Lake passed away on September 13, 2021 in Spooner, Wisconsin.
Buzzy was born on August 7, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN to parents LeRoy and Lucille (Switzenberg) Gardner.
Buzzy graduated from Webster High School in 1949 and enlisted in the US Army in 1954. He went to work at the United States Post Office in Minneapolis, MN in March of 1957 and retired from there in August of 1986. He swiftly moved back to Webster (the next day).
Buzzy enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, telling stories and sharing lots of laughs while having drinks with friends.
Buzzy is preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sons, LeMoyne (Moe) and LaVern.
He is survived by 2 daughters; LaJuana (Randy) Magnuson and Laurie (Joe) Gardner; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, WI.
