Kim Marie Bohen, age 54, a resident of Stacy, MN, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
Kim was born on February 25, 1967 at St. Johns Hospital in St. Paul, MN to Hartley and Alice Hedberg.
Kim graduated from Kellogg High School in Little Canada, Minnesota in 1985. After High School, Kim attended cosmetology school.
Kim married the love of her life, Daniel Bohen, on July 10, 1993 at Prince of Peace in Roseville, Minnesota. They have been inseparable ever since, enjoying their shared hobbies and love for each other.
Kim had a passion for being out on the water. Winter or summer, she would be out catching fish. When not fishing you would find her watching the Minnesota Vikings, Twins and Wild. If sports weren’t an option, game shows were. Oftentimes, you would find her yelling at the TV while watching Family Feud.
She is survived by her parents, Hartley and Alice Hedberg; husband Dan Bohen; children Cortney and Danny Bohen and the family dog, Owen, who became her little buddy; brothers Scott (Lee Johnson) Hedberg and Jeff (Sue) Hedberg; along with many more relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home (303 E State Road 70 Grantsburg, Wisconsin). Dinner will be provided at the American Legion (108 N Oak St, Grantsburg, Wisconsin) from 6:30-9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials be sent to Big Wood Lake Association at http://bigwoodlake.org/
