Kenneth Soderbeck

Kenneth Leroy Soderbeck was born in Grantsburg WI, October 28th, 1939, to Leroy and Grace; he was the older brother to Brian and Randy. Kenny passed away with his love, Karin, by his side holding his hand which is what he wanted the most.

After graduation from Grantsburg High School, Kenny fell in love and married Karin Campeau, in Somerset WI. They had two daughters, Penny and Sandra. Later in life, Kenny and Karin separated but continued to be lifelong partners and rekindled their love.

Kenny was best known as the “Painter”, owning and operating Soderbeck Painting and Drywall; his granddaughter Cassie fondly remembers him painting the Grantsburg IGA on Tower Hill in the 90’s. Ken also lived in the beloved “Hamburger Pickle” house on Wisconsin Ave.

Kenny is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Leroy and Grace, his brother Brian, and his great granddaughter Olivia.

Kenny is survived by his love, Karin; his daughters, Penny and Sandra; his brother, Randy (Carol); his 5 grandchildren, Cassie, Tony, Brandon, Tyler and Mat; his 2 great grandchildren, Jamison and Sabine; many Soderbeck cousins throughout WI and MN.

Per Kenny's request no service will be held.
