Katherine Reichstadt

Katherine Elizabeth Reichstadt, age 72, of South St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, February 10, 2017. Katherine was born on April 5, 1944 in Hamlet, North Carolina to parents, Katie (McRae) and Clarence Dahlin. Katherine was employed by Faberge Corp. as material handler and later at Unisys in St. Paul, MN as a laborer. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and was very proud of her vast cookbook collection. She enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino and getting lucky at scratch off tickets. She also liked to spend time outdoors, visiting the local parks. Above all else, she truly loved spending time with her family and friends. Katherine was a fighter. She fought for the last 30 years to keep her health. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, devoted grandmother and caring friend. Preceding Katherine in death are her parents. Katherine is survived by her children: Dorie (Kyle) Gill, Dawn Reichstadt (Bob Schmidt), Debbie Reichstadt and Jerry Reichstadt (Kathy Weis); 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service for Katherine will be conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00pm (visitation from 1-2:00pm) at the Household of Faith Church, 1090 Chicago Ave., in St. Paul Park, MN with Pastor Rich Pfeffer officiating.
